Collin Facial Products

If you want to see dynamic visible changes to your skin, a combination of salon treatments and a full and thorough homecare regime is necessary. For long term results and "big changes" it is likely that your full and thorough homecare commitment is backed up by a corrective course of treatments within the salon.

Treatment courses are prescribed in threes or more depending on the needs of the skin as well as the stage and age of the skin. Before anything can be decided, a thorough consultation must be carried out along with a skin analysis. This will allow the therapist to assess the skin's condition and needs and for the client and therapist to agree on the client’s skincare aspirations and commitment levels for treatment both in the salon and at home.

Skin analysis is a combination of asking questions, touching the skin and visually accessing the skin. It can be performed with or without the aid of the Collin computerised SkinScope camera.

Skin Types and Conditions

At Collin we believe each client's skin may consist of more than one type or condition and that we should not become a "prisoner" of one skin type. Skin changes regularly due to factors such as diet, lifestyle, hormones, seasons, age, stress etc. Here is a guide to the easy to follow Collin skin indexing system…

Skin index 1 : Dehydrated skin – skin lacking in water

Collin range to consider using: The Water Radiance Range consisting of The Water Radiance Concentrate, Water Radiance Cream and Water Radiance Mask.

Skin index 2 : Dry Skin – Skin lacking in Oil

Collin range to consider using: The Nourishing Range consisting of The Nourishing Regenerating Oil, Vison Cream, and The Nourishing Restructuring Mask.

Skin index 3 : Oily skin – a skin over-secreting oil

Collin range to consider using: The Dermo-Purifying Range consisting of The Dermo-Purifying Foam, The Dermo-Purifying Gel, The Purifying Formula, and The Dermo-Purifying Mask.

Skin index 4 : Anti ageing, age correction and hormonally challenged skin

This is the largest part of the Collin range and there are a whole host of serums, creams and masks designed to suit your skin's age and needs. It should also be treated depending on the underlying skin type.

Skin index 5 : This index treats skin conditions

For sensitive, fragile skins, consider using the Calmo-Derm Serum, Calmo-Derm Cream and the Native Collagen Gel as a Mask.

For brown pigmentation marks, the Collin range to consider using is the Whitening range consisting of the WhitEvidence Serum and the WhitEvidence Cream.
